After the massive hit of 2.0, Akshay Kumar is back is his hero avatar with the film Kesari. Kesari is an Indian war drama film directed by Anurag Singh. The movie has Parineeti Chopra as the lady lead for Akshay Kumar. Kesari is about the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who engaged in the Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.
The music of the film is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Chirantan Bhatt, Jasbir Jassi, Gurmoh and Jasleen Royal with lyrics written by Kumaar, Manoj Muntashir, and Kunwar Juneja. Kesari is combinedly produced by Karan Johar Aruna Bhatia Hiroo Yash Johar Apoorva Mehta Sunir Khetarpal. The historic venture is scheduled for release on March 21, 2019.
Earlier, the team had released three teasers creating a huge buzz over the film and the now the much-awaited trailer of Kesari has been released.
