Gentleman comes in at the right time when audience are being offered the same old masala entertainers. After Kshanam we can watch out for another gripping thriller. For a change we see the leading lady taking the limelight and leading the story forward. Niveda Thomas who is quite a popular face in Tamil film industry has made her debut with this film.
The actress not only steals hearts with her looks but also impresses with her acting skills. Niveda looks very promising and takes us into the story with her. Nani moved from the comforting romantic entertainers and plunged into a thriller. The suspense element is well maintained.
Throughout the first half the riddles are thrown out and second half opens to a racy game with ample elements of suspense. Mohana Krishna Indraganti astonishes with a spellbound script.
Manisarma’s music and especially background score is a major advantage to the film. He is undeniably one of the best composers we have in the industry. Films like Athadu’s movie watching experience got enriched with Manisarma’s background score.
Overall Gentleman is a decent thriller with ample doses of humour and engaging scenes!
