Bindass Movie review
Bindaas is directorial debut venture of writer Veeru Potla, who penned scripts for blockbusters like Varsham and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. The rib tickling dialogues and funny moments definitely proves that Veeru Potla is good as a writer.
Seshadri Naidu (Jaya prakash Reddy) and Mahendra Naidu (Ahuti Prasad) are family rivals, who fights each other frequently to kill one another’s family members. In the city, Ajay (Manoj Manchu) a care-free lad is living a bindass life until he is brought back to Chittoor by his uncles (Ahuti‘s men). Ajay is a tough guy with a large heart, here he pampers Girija (Sheena), who falls in love with him latter. One day the rival groups catch hold of Vennela Kishore and Master Bharath (Ajay‘s family members) and Ajay single handedly saves them, but his family members alienates him for putting other lives on risk. As you can guess, the rest of the story is about how Ajay ends the rivalry between the two family.
On the whole, Bindass is old wine in a new bottle. Veeru Potla has packaged it with many comedy dialogues and situations. In many scenes, Manoj has tried to imitate his father Mohan Babu; on the whole, he is very high in energy and has given a neat performance. Bollywood girl Sheena has handled the glamour part. Vennela Kishore, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmanandam and others have done their parts very well. Music by Bobo Sashi could have been better and camera work by Ramesh Babu is another weak point.
