Bangaram Movie review
In Bangaram, Director Dharani has thrown light on the life of a journalist. There are some incidents shown in the movie which common people wouldn't have dreamt of doing in their life. In this movie Pawan Kalyan has neatly donned the role of a journalist. He gets in to trouble often and finds it a mountainous task to get out of it. Apart from being a journalist he assigns himself the job of uniting lovers.
Bangaram (Pawan Kalyan) yearns and dreams to make it big at BBC. But he finds himself tied to a local channel. During one such coverage, he lands up in Peddi Reddy's (Mukesh Rishi) house. A series of events that happen there changes his life. He receives a shock when he hears that Peddi Reddy is the head of the TV Channel he works for.
A local leader Bhuma Reddy ( Ashutosh Rana) wants to get his son married to Peddi Reddy's gorgeous daughter Sandhya ( Meera Chopra). But Sandhya is already in love with Vinay ( Raja). Bangaram cannot stand the plight of the lovers and vows to help them get back together. In the meantime enters Reema Sena as a journalist and Bangaram passes his time wooing and flirting with her. Will Bangaram unite the lovers? Will he fulfill his dream of becoming a journalist at the BBC? That's Bangaram for you to watch.
Pawan has got a good sense of humour and it clearly shows in this movie. The scene where he imitates Peddi Reddy and Sandhya has the theatre rocking with the audience's laughter. Meera Chopra too has acted her part well. Trisha appears for a song and her presence has added more spice to the movie. Others like Mukesh Rishi, Ashutush Rana, Reema Sen and Raja have too little to play or say.
On the whole the movie would have been good if it possessed a better script. The movie lacks the speed that Dharani's movies usually have. Pawan turning too serious towards the end is a serious blemish for the movie. Yet this movie will be a dear one for all Pawan fans.
