Simbu one of the top heroes of Tamil cinema in this day and age. He has made a name for himself in the industry due to which he is now a household name in South India. He delivered two back to back blockbuster hit films with Maanaadu and the recently released Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. He has been riding on the high house of the one that released latter this year. Both the films were critically acclaimed as well.

Now, Atman Simbu has plunged into the Bollywood film industry as well. Simbu made it official that he has made his debut as a singer in Bollywood. He has sung 'Taali Taali' song in the upcoming movie Double XL. The actor took to his official Twitter handle to announce this to his many fans and followers. Sharing the song, he wrote, "Here’s my first song in Hindi, My debut as a singer in Bollywood & this one is for my friend @MahatOfficial Onwards & upwards ! Double XL an upcoming Hindi slice-of-life comedy-drama written and directed by Satram Ramani of Helmet fame. Produced under the banners of Wakaoo Films, Elemen3 Entertainment and Reclining Seats Cinema Production, the film stars Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha in leading roles with Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra in supporting roles. The film will trace the journey of two plus-sized women, Rajshree Trivedi (Qureshi) from Meeruti and Saira Khanna (Sinha) from New Delhi, who trying to break stereotypes as they navigate society's beauty standards.
