Chhello Show ( Last Film Show in English) is Gujarati coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Pan Nalin. Produced by the director himself, Dheer Momaya, Marc Duale and Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banners of Chhello Show LLP, Monsoon Films, Jugaad Motion Pictures, and Roy Kapur Films, the film stars Bhavin Rabari, Bhavesh Shrimali, Richa Meena, Dipen Raval and Paresh Mehta in lead roles. The film premiered at the 20th Tribeca Film Festival on 10 June 2021. The film will release in theatres nationwide on October 14.

Very recently it has an official announcement was made by the Film Federation of India (FFI) that the film is India's official entry into the 2023 Oscar , which is the 95th Academy Awards. The film is inspired by Nalin's own memories of falling in love with movies as a child in rural Gujarat. It won multiple awards during its festival run, including the Golden Spike at the 66th Valladolid Film Festival in Spain where it also enjoyed commercial success during its theatrical run.

There were a lot of speculations that that Vivek Agnihotri's film The Kasmir Files or S. S. Rajamouli's RRR starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan will be India's official entry into Oscars 2023. Last year, the Tamil film Koozhangal (Pebbles in English), directed by filmmaker Vinothraj PS, was India's official entry into the 2022 Oscars but did not make the cut. The last Indian film that made it to the final five was the 2002 sports drama film Lagaan starring Aamir Khan. Only two other two Indian movies have made it to the final top five - 1958's Mother India and 1989's Salaam Bombay.

The 95th Academy Awards is scheduled to take place on 12 March 2023 in Los Angeles.
