Aishwarya Rajinikanth, a well-known filmmaker and elder daughter of veteran Tamil actor Rajinikanth, has filed a complaint at Teynampet Police Station that gold and diamond jewellery worth lakhs has been stolen from her residence. New reports stated that the filmmaker has complained that the missing valuables, including Diamond sets, an uncut diamond in temple jewellery, an antique gold piece, navaratnam sets, full antique uncut diamonds with gold, set of two next pieces with earrings, an Aram necklace and bangles that cumulatively account to 60 sovereigns of gold. According to the FIR, the value of the jewel is Rs.3.6 lakhs but the estimated value is said to be higher than that. The filmmaker has also named three staffs at her home as suspects.

The 41-year-old Aishwarya Rajinikanth has statement in her complaint that she kept the jewellery in the locker after using them for her sister Soudarya Rajinikanth’s wedding in 2019 and it has been shifted to three places since. She stated that she found the jewels missing on February 10. Based on the complaint the police at Teynampet Police Station have registered a case and have began investigations, said reports.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth has directed two feature films including 3 that had Dhanush and Shruti Hassan in lead roles and was a hit film in 2012. she also directed Vai Raja Vai in 2015, which has Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand in lead roles. The director is currently working on her upcoming film titled Lal Salaam which is based on the sport, cricket. It has Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth and Rajinikanth in lead roles and will have music composed by AR Rahman and produced by A Subashkaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. On the personal front, Aishwarya Rajinikanth is currently separated from her husband Dhanush, who is a leading actor.
