A film that set the entire nation talking, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master has turned out to be a raging box office blockbuster, and went on to be declared as a hit globally soon after its release. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the mass masala action entertainer also had 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who played a deadly antagonist, with his chemistry alongside a fiery Vijay turning out to be the biggest USPs for the film's gargantuan success. Apart from the two superstars, Master also included a number of young actors, especially popular YouTubers, who were cast in the role of college and school students, including Madrasi YouTube channel fame Galatta Guru.

Gurumoorthy, known among fans as Galatta Guru, started off as a YouTuber before making a transition to becoming a television anchor and had appeared in a couple of important scenes in Master as Vijay's house servant. Known also for his skills as a director on his YouTube shorts, including having done cinematography, script writing, while proving his mettle as a dancer and as a magician, Galatta Guru got married to his lover Swathi Karpagam on Wednesday. Taking to his Instagram page, Galatta Guru posted a wedding invitation of his marriage to Karpagam, which included the message, "Dear Bestie can you believe it?
