It is official now. Critically acclaimed actor-writer Tanikella Bharani's offbeat film has been titled Mithunam. Singer-actor S.P. Balasubramaniam and veteran actress Lakshmi play the lead roles.
The film is based on Sri Ramana's acclaimed novel Mithunam. It is about an old couple who in their twilight years stay together and keep their romance alive, while all their five children are away happily settled abroad. Veena Pani will score the music. According to sources, the film has already commenced.
