Suresh Krissna's Mestri

After a hiatus of three years, well-known director Suresh Krissna is back to direct a Telugu film titled Mestri (also spelled Meistry), starring none other than the veteran director Dasari Narayan Rao. The film has completed its entire shooting and is all set to hit theatres on March 11.

The audio of the film was recently launched on the eve of Mahasivaratri at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. Music is by Vande Mathram Srinivas. Produced and written by Dasari Narayana Rao with a budget of Rs. 3 crores under the banner of Siri Media Pvt. Ltd., Mestri is touted to be a hard-hitting, intense film with a lot of scope for the director.

Set in the backdrop of a shipyard, the film is a tale about an old man's vision and his mission against the system. According to sources, the film is not a regular, run-of-the-mill commercial film. It doesn't have hero-heroine stuff, no duets, no item songs or vulgar jokes. The director says that Mestri is a clean film. Mesthri also has Mohan Babu, Srihari and TV actress Sujitha�in vital roles. Cinematography is by Raman Raj. Gautam Raju handles editing. Dialogues are by Rajendra Kumar.
