Tollywood's Prince Mahesh Babu arrived in style for Sankranti with his latest offering Sarileru Neekevvaru! This movie, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is bankrolled jointly by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu himself, under their AK Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Creations and GMB Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. banners! This action drama hit the screens on January 11th and is doing great at the Box Office. Now, one of the producers has revealed that this movie has garnered record collections on the 1st day itself!

A Twitter post from Anil Sunkara states that for the first time in the history of the Telugu Film Industry, all the distributors, exhibitors and buyers of Sarileru Neekevvaru have gotten back over 50% of their investment on the first day itself! The worldwide share from Day 1 of Sarileru Neekevvaru's release is being tallied at Rs. 46.77 Crores and this just seems to be the beginning, with the Sankranti festival in a couple of days! Quoting a popular dialogue from the movie, Anil wrote, "Never Before Ever after BLOCKBUSTER KA BAAP. And this is just the beginning. (sic)"

Sarileru Neekevvaru stars Rashmika Mandanna as the lady lead, with the Lady Superstar of yesteryear - Vijayashanti marking her comeback to movies, in this film! The cast of this project also includes Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Murali Sharma and a number of others. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for this movie, which has Rathnavelu's cinematography and Tammiraju's editing. Have you watched Sarileru Neekevvaru at the theatres yet?
