Ace producer Rajkumar Sethupathi has put an end to all the speculations regarding the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Drishyam. The producer has confirmed that the Telugu remake will have Victory Venkatesh will reprise the role of Mohanlal. Venky, Meena and Nadiya Moidhu will be playing the lead roles in the film. Meena will be seen in the same role. She played Mohanlal's wife's role in the original. Nadiya will be playing an IPS officer. The remake is being directed by Sripriya. Suresh Productions and Rajkumar Theatres are jointly producing the film. The film will commence shooting from the first week of March, 2014. The makers are planning to release the film by May 2014 itself. 

Venky is going to add another name to his remakes hit list. He acted in remakes of Arjun, Tezaab, Aankhen, Gemini, Kaakha Kaakha, A Wednesday, Bodyguard, Bol Bachchan.
