One of the most sought-after actors in the country over the past couple of years, Prabhas' life changed radically overnight after starring in the blockbuster Baahubali films. He was then seen in the high-budget action flick, Saaho, which as well turned out to be a spectacular box office success last year. Since then, he signed up for three huge upcoming projects starting with Radhe Shyam opposite Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star Pooja Hegde under Radha Krishna Kumar's direction, followed by the tentatively titled Prabhas 21 with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan under Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin's direction, including director Om Raut's recently-announced Adipurush, which will see him square off against Saif Ali Khan, who has been cast as the antagonist. All three upcoming films are pan-Indian projects considering Prabhas has become a mighty popular star around the country.

Among the films, his Radhe Shyam is currently being filmed in Italy after production was indefinitely halted in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Touted to be a period romantic drama, the film will see Prabhas in a light-hearted role, which is a step away from the films has been seen of late as many of last few projects have been more action-oriented. Apart from Prabhas, a major USP for the upcoming includes actress Pooja Hegde, whose success skyrocketed after starring opposite Allu Arjun in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo released earlier this year and is also currently attached to Akhil Akkineni's Most Eligible Bachelor. In that light, a special poster for Pooja's character 'Prerana' in Radhe Shyam has now been unveiled by UV Creations on the occasion of her birthday today. Check it out below:

Radhe Shyam is being produced by Vamsi and Pramod under their UV Creations banner and is presented by UV Krishnam Raju's Gopi Krishna Movies Private Limited. Bhushan Kumar's T-Series will be releasing the dubbed Hindi version of the film. Apart from Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, the film also includes Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sathyan among others in major supporting roles. Radhe Shyam also has a stellar technical crew featuring names like Manoj Paramahamsa for the cinematography, production design by R Raveendar and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
