Superstar Rajnikanth’s much awaited flick Lingaa’s release is creating a sensation everywhere. The star studded mega budgeted entertainer is expected to release in 2500 screens worldwide. Interestingly, a huge number of Rajni's loyal Japanese fans have flown down to Chennai especially to watch their favorite star’s movie - first day first show.

Director K S Ravikumar has used a  Phantom Flex 4k high speed camera for the movie. This is the first time this technology is being used in India. Anushka, Sonakshi Sinha and Jagapathi Babu are paying key roles in the movie.
