Police have booked cases against Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishath (ABVP) activists after they allegedly set ablaze reels of Prince Mahesh Babu starrer Businessman in Osmania University campus on Wednesday.

A large number of ABVP activists entered the Aaradhana theatre near the University and stalled screening of film. They burnt reels of film in front of Arts College, protesting the ‘Bad Boys’ song in the film.

T. Rama Krishna, ABVP national executive member, alleged that the song gives a bad message to audience and it was filled with abusive words. He demanded the director Puri Jagannath and actor Mahesh Babu tender apologies to everyone.

Based on complaint lodged by the theatre management, police have booked cases against 10 ABVP student activists for vandalism. "The accused are absconding and will be arrested sooner or later,” OU police inspector said.
