Allu Arjun's Pushpa is one of the most anticipated films of this year and the fans are eagerly waiting to witness the film on the big screen. Pushpa will be Allu Arjun's next release after the blockbuster success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and the stylish star will be looking forward to continuing the success streak. Pushpa is directed by Sukumar, who is known for directing the blockbuster action drama, Rangasthalam. Pushpa was initially scheduled to release in theatres on August 13, but the plan was scrapped due to the Covid-19 situation. Having said that, the makers have now revealed the new release plans of the movie and the update has come as a delight for the fans.

A few days before, the makers had mentioned that Pushpa will be released in two parts, considering the large scale of the story and its characters. The first part of Pushpa will now release in theatres in the month of December, during the Christmas Day weekend. We can expect the film to release on any day between December 23 and December 25. The official announcement regarding this new release plan was made in the morning and it has made the fans look forward to the d-day. However, this release plan will completely depend on how the Covid-19 situation pans out in the country in the next few months.

Until then, the team of Pushpa will work towards releasing the film for this year's Christmas. Pushpa will have a pan Indian release in 5 different languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will have Fahadh Faasil playing the villain and Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead. Pushpa will mark Fahadh Faasil's debut in Telugu cinema. The film will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The first single from Pushpa will release on August 13.
