Daughter of Telugu cinema veteran actors Rajasekar and Jeevitha, Shivatmika is set to debut in a movie titled, Dorasani. Vijay Devarakonda's brother, Anand Deverakonda is the male lead, who is also a debutant. The movie is about the daughter of a landlord (Dora in Telugu). Check out the first look of the movie!

In an interview, yet another debutante, director KVR Mahendra said that  a landlord's daughter named Devaki lives in a suppressed world which she wants to break free from. She falls in love with a son of a laborer, named Raju because of which her life entirely changes. Since this romantic flick is set in the 1980's, the couple face the problem of not getting accepted of their relationship.

Additionally, the director also stated in the interview that, he took more than 3.5 years to do the groundwork on the topic and has apparently written 42 versions of the script before settling on the final one. He also included that he's always wanted to cast Shivatmika for the role because he saw a potential in her to pull of the grace that the character requires.

Dorasani is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Yash Rangineni. The technical crew comprises Prashanth Vihari for music and Navin Nooli for editing. The director also mentioned that Dorasani will entirely be in Telangana dialect, which has a strong reason behind it.
