Legendary singer KJ Yesudas has been conferred Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award in the country. His fans are on cloud nine and have welcomed the award as a well-deserved one. In an interview to a leading English daily, the 77-year-old singer dedicated the award to his fans. "It is humbling, yes. It is also a stepping stone. It is a mirror of the mind of my audience, who acknowledge that music has no religion, caste or creed," he was quoted.
