With the Vishnu-Sri Divya starrer Maveeran Kittu all set to grace theaters this Friday, the director has revealed that the story is based on few real life incidents. To an exclusive interview with Galatta.com, Vishnu said that he was amazed to see Sri Divya's fan following down south and even the team was stunned.

Set in the 80s in a small village called Puthur, Vishnu will play a student who hails from a poor family while Parthiban, who owns a printing press, is his well-wisher and sponsor. A social issue changes both their lives and the struggle begins. The film is produced by Nallu Samy Pictures and Asian Cine Combines
