Vikram Prabhu's upcoming action romantic film Wagah has cleared the censors with a clean U certificate. The director revealed that the film is based on an autobiography of a BSF personnel. "Wagah is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and will definitely fulfill the expectations," says Vikram Prabhu and also added that the film is all about "having faith in what you believe."

A major part of the film is shot in the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir. Wagah, which has the backdrop of a military background, will see Vikram Prabhu appearing in an action avatar. The beautiful Ranya Rao pairs with the actor, who makes her Kollywood debut. Directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan of Ninaithale Inikkum, the film is produced by Vijay Bhargavi Films.
