'Thala' Ajith’s 59th film, Viswasam, being directed by Siva under the Sathya Jyothi Films banner with music by D. Imman has been progressing at a steady pace with plans for a Pongal 2019 release.

With production in full swing, there has been much discussion on when the Viswasam first look will arrive with reports stating a launch on the auspicious occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi on September 13 was apparently being planned.
Fans will know Ajith’s films have shown the Vinayaka Chathurthi celebrations on a few occasions namely in the "Kaalam Kalikalam" song in Amarkalam and "Veera Vinayaka" from Vedalam.
That said, the Viswasam first look apart from a September 13 launch could come in August itself as per our sources
Furthermore, director Siva has followed the pattern of revealing information from his films in the past on Thursdays andif it does get unveiled on September 13, it would be most apt for the team.
Nayanthara will be starring opposite Ajith for the fourth time and alongside an ensemble cast that includes names like Vivek, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Bose Venkat, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramesh Thilak among others in vital supporting roles.
