Ajith’s highly anticipated Viswasam hit screens yesterday as a Pongal treat with fans getting to witness the ‘Thala’ dharisanam after nearly one and a half years since his last release, Vivegam.
Directed by Siva under the Sathya Jyothi Movies banner, the rural action entertainer includes a massive star cast featuring names like Nayanthara as the female lead, Jagapati Babu as the antagonist, Vivek, Kovai Sarala, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Bose Venkat, Ramesh Thilak among others with smash hit music by D. Imman.
With the film now out in theatres, fans including celebrities have been expressing their opinions among whom director Venkat Prabhu tweeted his views for Viswasam calling it "a family entertainer in a mass commercial format" while also stating he will always be a “Thala Viswasi”. Fans will know the hit director delivered one of the biggest hits in Ajith’s career - the 2011 blockbuster, Mankatha.

Furthermore, the Party director, who is all set to next direct STR in Maanadu had also watched 'Superstat' Rajinikanth's PETTA and wished director Karthik Subbaraj, while also declaring he too is now "Rajinified".
