Kathanayagan is supposed to have got released on June 23rd by the end of this month. As with the latest Kollywood trend, a lot of films are vying to get the spot before the end of June.

Vishu Vishal in his statement confirmed that Kathanayagan will not get released this June and the release date will be announced soon. Catherine Teresa, Soori are part of the cast in this movie directed by Muruganandham and produced by Fox Star Studios.
