The Lok Sabha election is all set to happen in the next three months and the political ground is on fire. Actor and Makkal Neethi Maiam Chief, Kamal Haasan recently confirmed that his party will contest in the elections. He was also wished by his best friend and actor Rajinikanth on Twitter. The duo shares a great friendship off-screen who are also now coming into the political arena. However, the Kabali actor is not contesting in the coming 2019 elections.


Actor and Tamil Film Producers Council president, Vishal shared that it would be great if two of the legends join together in the 2019 elections. He tweeted, "I wish Rajini sir and kamal sir come together. Not for Nadigar sangam show. Not for any star reception.Not for any multistarrer. Not for anythin but 2019 Loksabha. Yes. It will be a game changer."


Udhayanidhi Stalin replied to this tweet with a picture that had Rajinikanth and Kamal sharing the stage together at an event. But, later, he realised the context of the tweet and also about the authenticity of the picture and deleted it. He apologized for sharing a picture that wasn't verified. He also took a dig at politician H Raja with a comment about admins. He tweeted, "Had posted a fotoshopped pic without verifying for the first time ! Sorry ! Deleted it ! My mistake ! Not my admins!"


Rajini, earlier confirmed that his party will not contest in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and added that their main focus will be on the 2021 State Elections.
