Sandakozhi 2, a film that has been talked quite a lot by both director Lingusamy and actor Vishal over the years is at present in production stages.
A sequel to the 2005 blockbuster Sandakozhi, Vishal reunites with Rajikiran, who will reprise his role from the previous film along with Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music.
Keerthy Suresh is this time paired opposite Vishal as the female lead.
Although details around her role are kept under wraps, we know at this point that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has a key role to play in the film.
With the makers eyeing a summer release, nearly half of the production for Sandakozhi 2 has been completed as per Vishal’s latest statement on Twitter.

At the rate Vishal and the Sandakozhi 2 team are working, we can believe the film will make it to screens this summer.
