Vishal who celebrated his 41st birthday on Wednesday (29.08.2018) made the day more special by conduction the 100th day success meet for his film Irumbu Thirai.
Irumbu Thirai had Vishal and Samantha in the lead With Arjun playing the role of an antagonist. Done under Vishal’s own banner of VFF, the film was directed by P.S Mithran and the music was done by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Irumbu Thirai hit the theaters on 11 May 2018 and has crossed its 100th day successfully.
During the meet, Vishal opened about his political intentions and said, "I am planning to convert my fans club into a People welfare association. This is because they have been involved in serving the society and wanted a separate identity.”
Vishal also added, “A lot of people are asking about my political entry. I have already entered politics. Samantha also does a lot of social work and a lot of people doesn't know that and few people know that. So, if politics is all about serving people then we all are politicians.”
Vishal officially converted his fan club association into a welfare association which will bear the name Vishal Makkal Nala Iyakkam’. He also unveiled the association’s flag as well.
