We had reported a short while back that actor Vishal had been arrested by the Chennai police after he had tried to break the lock of his office premises in the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) building.
Vishal, who happens to be thePresident of the TFPC as well as the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam has now released an official statement on his Twitter page saying the police have been mute spectators when unauthorized people had locked the doors and gates of the TFPC and have instead resorted to arresting him for no fault while calling such actions as “absolutely unbelievable”.
He further added that he along with his colleagues will fight back to organize the upcoming event honoring ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja while also making sure to raise funds to aid the producers who are facing distress.
