As known already, actor Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai, which released recently in Tamil has been receiving a positive response among fans as well as critics.

With the Tamil version now released, the film’s Telugu version titled Abhimanyudu is having its audio launched today (May 25) at Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Vishal has decided to skip the audio launch event as well as involving himself any further in promotional activities for the film’s Telugu version keeping in mind the ongoing sterlite protests at Tuticorin, which is at present at a critical stage.

Abhimanyudu’s producer Hari in a statement mentioned the decision taken by Vishal was primarily as a mark of respect to the victims, who are suffering for a good cause.

He further added his entire production team only has utmost respect for Vishal’s latest decision and are extending their fullest support.

Despite Vishal’s non-involvement in the audio launch and other promotional activities of Abhimanyudu, the film also starring Samantha and Arjun will hit screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on June 1 as announced earlier.
