Dhanush connected well with the B.E. youngsters of today with his first movie Vellai Illa Pattathari. The casting played an important role, be it Samuthirakani as his father or Saranya as the doting, friendly mother.

Even the film’s heroine Amala Paul had a strong characterization that made VIP a super hit. VIP 2 teaser directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth was released today. Samuthirakani once again makes an appearance and it focuses less on story, more on action following the success trend. The teaser doesn’t show Kajol though.
