Kadaram Kondan is easily the most awaited movie in recent times for Vikram, since the movie is an end result of Vikram and Kamal Haasan's collaboration. Being an action thriller, the movie stars Vikram and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles and Abi Haasan, son of Nasser is making his debut. The movie is helmed by Rajesh Selva, who has earlier directed Ulaga Nayagan's  Thoongaa Vanam. The trailer of the movie had released a week ago and has over 4.7 million views. A couple of hours ago, it was revealed by the makers that Kadaram Kondan has been provided with U/A certificate. Check out the official announcement.

The makers of Kadaram Kondan have planned to release the movie on 19th of July and having been dubbed in Telugu, it has been titled as KK. Vikram's previous releases, Sketch performed average at the box office and Saamy Square was a flop.

His Dhruva Natchathiram and Mahavir Karna are long awaited movies. Apart from these, Vikram is also being cast in Mani Ratnam's ambitious project Ponniyin Selvan, after starring in 2 various characters in Raavanan and Raavan. And his recent 58th project is with Imaikkaa Nodigala and Demonte Colony director Ajay Gnanamuthu.
