Vikram's Bollywood entry!

Here comes exciting news for all Vikram fans, eagerly waiting for the releases of their favorite actor's super hero film Kanthaswamy (Mallana in Telugu) and ace Mani Ratnam directed bilingual Raavan/ Asokavanam, which officially marks the Bollywood debut of their hero. Much before the release of Raavan, a few of his earlier Tamil films will be soon dubbed into Hindi!

Vikram's first Tamil film to hit�Bollywood screens would be Dhill (2001), which was already remade as Dum with Vivek Oberoi in the lead.�Next will be Dhool (2003), likely to be followed by Saami (2003) and Majaa (2005).

Directed by Dharani, Dhill is one of the biggest hits in Vikram's career. The film was sold to distributors for $1 million and grossed $2 million at the box office. Dhool is yet another super hit mass masala entertainer, directed by Dharani, grossing $4 million at the box office.

Saami is a smash hit by Vikram and along with Kaakka Kaakka, it started a new genre of police and thief films in Tamil, grossing $5 million. Majaa, a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Thomannum Makkalum, was however an average grosser.
