Yes it is a huge announcement that Vikram is doing a big epic movie on Karnan of Mahabharatham fame.


The character sketch of Karnan is very interesting and so far the only reference to this great man we have is the stupendous performance by legend Sivaji Ganesan.



Ullathil Nall Ullam is a song that is popular even today and Karnan was re released recently and was received well.



Vikram is now playing Karnan in the 300 crore budget Mahavir Karna directed by Rs Vimal. The cast and crew for the film will be the best of the lot and shoot will begin in October. Mahavir Karna is scheduled for December 2019 release and is a multi lingual though will be predominantly shot in Hindi.


After Sketch, Dhruva Natchathiram and Saamy Square, this is going to be a prodigious gift for his fans. It is only apt that VIkram has been roped in for this movie looking back at the variety of roles he has played and the level of dedication he has given to the craft.
