National Award-winning actor Vikram is currently one of the busiest stars in the Tamil industry.

The acclaimed actor is at present awaiting the release of his upcoming action entertainer, Sketch, which is slated to hit screens in January.

He is also part of Gautham Menon’s slick action spy thriller, Dhruva Natchathiram, which is expected to come out around summer 2018.

Currently, ‘Chiyaan’ is working on director Hari’s Saamy Square, the sequel to the 2003 blockbuster, Saamy.

In the midst of this, there is now talk that he will be joining hands with director Vishnuvardhan for a film in 2018. Reports state talks are ongoing between them and an announcement on this project could likely come out in the coming days.

Vishnuvardhan made a notable impression with Arinthum Ariyamalum in 2005.

He then cemented his place in the industry with the smash hit film, Billa, in 2007, with Ajith in the lead.

The filmmaker once again struck gold with Ajith in 2013 in Arrambam.

It must be noted that there were also talks last year about Vishnuvardhan teaming up with Ajith for a historical film centered around a Chola King based on a story being written by veteran writer Balakumaran.

We will just have to wait now for a statement from either Vishnuvardhan or Vikram's camp to know what's in the offing next.
