Vijayakanth, who was busy with his party DMDK all these years, will now be seen in a movie titled Tamizhan Endru Sol. This film will be directed by Arun Ponnambalam and Captain's son Shanmuga Pandian will play the parallel lead. While talking about the film to a leading English daily, the actor-turned-politician said, "When I listened to the script, I was impressed and came on board for its content which emphasises the importance of Tamil language. It also has a revolutionary subject.”
From the frist look posters, it seems that the film is a period fantasy and Captain will be playing the role of a king. The actor was last seen as a hero in Virudhagiri that released five years ago.
