After the success of Bairavaa, Vijay has quickly moved on to his next project, directed by Atlee. The shooting of the tentatively titled Vijay 61 is currently underway at Aditya Ram Studios. We hear that rural portions are being canned in this schedule. For the first schedule, which also has Nithya Menen, a lot of junior artists have been roped in. Also, a little birdie tells us that Vijay is likely to be seen in multiple roles in this venture. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to come.

With the story written by Baahubali fame KV Vijayendra Prasad, the film has a stellar cast of Vijay, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Sathyaraj, SJ Suryah, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan.
