One of the biggest superstars in the country, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay is at present working on his upcoming film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 63, coming out as a Diwali release in October under Atlee’s direction.
With the excitement already sky-high for Thalapathy 63, we had revealed yesterday that Vijay’s next would be with Maanagaram director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who left the superstar mighty impressed after narrating a story. As of now, the project tentatively titled Thalapathy 64 is said to be still in its early stages and a final decision followed by an announcement is expected to be taken after the actor’s birthday next month.

Meanwhile, sources close to us have now given us an exclusive update stating Lokesh Kanagaraj is indeed the frontrunner to helm Thalapathy 64, which is said to be a quickie with the shooting planned for 50 days. Furthermore, it has been divulged to us that shooting will most likely kick off in the latter half of this year with plans for an April or May 2020 release.
