In less than 2 weeks, the long wait among Vijay fans across the world will come to an end when the title for his upcoming film, tentatively now being called Thalapathy 63, will finally be revealed on the occasion of the superstar’s birthday on June 22. With production progressing at a steady pace and without any big breaks till date, director Atlee took to his Instagram page to share a candid picture of a piano and a computer monitor in the background suggesting he and music director A. R. Rahman are at work on the film's songs. It must be noted that the Academy Award-winning composer had earlier this week dropped a massive update saying editing on two of the songs have already begun with lyricist Vivek following suit and saying work on the third song is also underway.

Touted to be an action sports drama, Thalapathy 63 will see Vijay playing the role of the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team with expectations surrounding the film quite massive in comparison to his recent previous ventures, which have of late carried an overall political overtone. Fans are quite excited to witness the star in a completely new avatar, which he too had not long back acknowledged in wanting to do an outright different film compared to his recent projects. With the film carrying the tagline, "Expect the Unexpected", many await a cracker of an entertainer when it arrives in theatres as a Diwali treat in October.
