A highly anticipated film right from the get go, Vijay’s Thalapathy 63 under Atlee’s direction has been announced for a Diwali release in October and is being produced under the AGS Entertainment banner with music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman.

Thalapathy 63 marks the third time Vijay and Atlee collaborating after their Theri and Mersal and is a multi-starrer with Nayanthara as the female lead followed by Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John, Devadarshini among others in crucial supporting roles.

With production on Vijay 63 proceeding at a brisk pace, there have been reports across the media and social networking forums that a junior artist named Krishna Devi has filed a petition against director Atlee at the Nazarathpet Police Station on April 16 in Chennai.

It is stated in Krishna Devi's petition that director Atlee and his assistants had behaved in a rude manner with her after which she was removed from the Thalapathy 63 sets. Meanwhile, we here at Galatta checked with our sources close to the team, who went on to deny the reports saying the complaint is against the assistant directors in the film and not against Atlee.

Furthermore, upon closer inspection of the Community Service Register (CSR) petition receipt issued on April 20, it is clearly mentioned that the complaint is not against Atlee, but only the director’s assistants. You can check out Krishna Devi's petition where we have highlighted how Atlee's name has been included as well the CSR petition copy issued by the police below:
