Sindhubaadh release stopped - check out the reason why!
A film that has seen a fair share of trouble in its release of late is the Vijay Sethupathi starrer, Sindhubaadh, directed by Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi fame SU Arunkumar. Initially planned for a mid-May release, the action thriller produced jointly by S.N. Rajarajan’s K Productions and Shan Sutharsan’s Vansan Movies banners was then announced to come out on screens later this week on June 21. However, the producers of Baahubali, Arka Media Works, had filed a legal notice in the Hyderabad High Court reordering a stay on the release of Sindhubaadh in any mode/format/medium. Releasing the film will constitute to a contempt of court punishable under the Contempt of Courts Act, as the status-quo order dated 08.05.2019 is binding against third-parties as well, including all digital players, distributors and co-producers of the movies Sindhubaadh and Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
Sindhubaadh also starring Anjali and Vijay Sethupathi’s son, Surya Sethupathi with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has generated quite a lot of curiosity after the release of the songs and an action-packed trailer earlier this week. The excitement kicked in further higher after visuals showed the fun-filled rapport between Vijay Sethupathi and his son especially in the "Rockstar Robber" song. The film also marks Surya Sethupathi’s first full-length role after he was seen for a brief period of time as a younger Vijay Sethupathi in the 2015 blockbuster, Naanum Rowdydhaan.
Apart from Vijay Sethupathi and his son Surya Sethupathi, actress Anjali left fans charmed in the trailer as a rather outspoken girl. With so many interesting facets in Sindhubaadh, it now remains to be seen how things play out regarding the release and will only continue to be a waiting game for fans.
