Maarconi Mathaai is an upcoming light-hearted romantic comedy movie, and Vijay Sethupathi will be playing an extended cameo role. Under Sanil Kalathil's direction, the teaser of the movie was released on the 16th of June and the trailer on July 4th. And the recent news is that Maarconi Mathaai will be releasing on July 12.
The premise of the movie is that Jayaram, who is essaying a character called Mathaai, a security gaurd, is in love with Anna, played by Athmiya. She is playing the role of a sweeper with Vijay Sethupathi appearing as himself. Vijay Sethupathi's fans are elated on having learnt that he will be seen speaking in Tamil as well as Malayalam.
