WOW: 1 MILLION Tickets For Sarkar!

Thalapathy Vijay's most-anticipated venture Sarkar made a grand entry into theaters on November 6th on the special occasion of Diwali. Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar playing the antagonist. The movie has set the box office on fire as the venture recorded the beast opening collection for a Tamil movie in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Worldwide. Sarkar crossed the 100 crore mark in its second itself.

One of the top ticket booking platforms BookMyShow has released a statement revealing that Sarkar is the biggest Vijay starrer opening film on BookMyShow. Compared to Vijay's previous venture Mersal, Sarkar's advance booking multiplied over 2x times on BMS and the movie has crossed the 1 MILLION ticket sales milestone in the platform. With its record, Thalapathy has proved that he is not only the king of box-office but he also the biggest crowd puller in India.

Apart from the ongoing political controversy, Sarkar is still holding a tight grip of the theaters as fans and family pour in to catch a glimpse of Thalapathy Vijay.
