In an exclusive interview with Galatta, director Ponram spoke about his dream to do a movie with Thalapathy Vijay.

Speaking about his dream to work with Thalapathy Vijay, Ponram said, “To do a film with Vijay is my dream. I am planning it. Nothing much on the project now. Have to travel on that. I am working on the script as of now. Will definitely do a film with Vijay sir. The film will be made with my usual theme and will have that fun flavor for sure”

Thalapathy Vijay hasn’t done a full-fledged village entertainer in his long career and director Ponram who thrives in these areas could be the perfect pick for Vijay to try it out. Notably, Ponram worked as the assistant director in Vijay’s 2002 release Tamilan.

Fans got a small glimpse of Vijay’s village avatar only in Velayudham in which Vijay was seen as a fun-filled village guy and fans would love to see their Thalapathy in such a role in a full-fledged colorful movie like Seemaraja.

Thalapathy Vijay’s movies have been revolving around a social content in recent times and it's high time for Vijay to give a fun-filled village entertainer that can be loved by the masses.
