One film that has generated curiosity unlike any other over the year so far, Vijay’s Thalapathy 63 being directed by Atlee has been progressing non-stop at a steady pace ever since production kicked off earlier this year in January. Touted to be an action-packed sports drama, shooting is currently taking place at the EVP Film City on the outskirts of Chennai with Vijay also participating in the current shoot. Considering the scope of Thalapathy 63 is huge, there are many junior artists and extras working in the film among whom is Karim Barcelo, a model, actor and a professional soccer player, who has of late been sharing updates about the film. Karim Barcelo has now shared a story in which he speaks about fans’ love for Vijay, who in turn is quite happy and conveyed his greetings to them all.
There have been plenty of updates regarding Thalapathy 63, among which the idea of Vijay playing the role of the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team has left fans everywhere mighty joyous. Expectations are sky-high for the film as it also marks the third-time association for Vijay and director Atlee after their previous blockbusters, Theri and Mersal. One additional major highlight fans will be looking forward to as we near the release of the film towards the end of October will be Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman’s music.
Thalapathy 63 being produced by AGS Entertainment includes a huge star cast featuring the likes of Nayanthara playing the lead heroine and Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Anandaraj, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Amritha Aiyer, Varsha Bollamma, Dheena among others in important supporting roles. With a major chunk of the production wrapped up, fans await a cracker of an entertainer this Diwali when the film arrives in theatres.
