Actor and popular comedian Karunakaran has become one of the most recognizable artists in the art of comedy in Tamil cinema in recent years.
His performances in films especially Jigarthanda, Indru Netru Naalai, Soodhu Kavvum, Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal and Vivegam last year fetched him good reviews from all corners.
Meanwhile, with the ongoing Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) strike, Karunakaran took to Twitter to post a couple of tweets which slightly suggest him to be taking shots against actor Vijay.
Karunakaran first tweeted a screenshot of actor SJ Suryah from his film, Anbe Aaruyire, in which he mouths the dialogue, "Irukku ana illa", which the comedian captioned in his tweet as "Strike irukku ana illa".

Shortly thereafter, Karunakaran once again tweeted a cryptic post that featured lines from 'Thalapathy' Vijay’s popular hit song, "Aalaporaan Thamizhan" from Mersal.

The tweets from Karunakaran have not gone down quite too well with a section of Vijay’s fans, who have taken the statements as digs against their favorite star.
We will now have to wait and see whether Karunakaran’s posts were indeed against Vijay, which we will know only if the popular comedian decides to comment on.
Karunakaran’s upcoming films include Arya’s Ghajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal’s Silukkuvarupatti Singam, Semma Botha Aagatha with Atharvaa, Gautham Karthik’s Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu among few others.
