Thalapathy Vijay has donated Rs 70 lakhs to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support the flood relief procedures in the state.
Vijay has extended his hands of support by sending a sum of 3 lakhs to his each welfare association to buy the essential relief materials for the Kerala victims. The relief materials will be commuted from 15 districts in Tamil Nadu through 15 Lorries to 12 affected areas in Kerala.
The relief materials include rice, pulses, Sugar, Wheat, Dress materials, bed sheets, dairy products, napkins and many more.
Kerala is witnessing its worst natural disaster in over a century due to heavy rain and flood for the past three weeks. The death toll went past 350 as lakhs of people left stranded without shelters.
Tamil Nadu has played a major part in the relief works and the film fraternity had its hand as celebrities made a big contribution to the relief fund.
