If the rumors are indeed true, Vijay could soon have a new competitor in his own family. As known already, his family members have carved a niche for themselves in various forms of art.

His father S.A. Chandrasekar is a prominent director having made over 50 films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

Vijay’s mother Shoba Chandrasekhar has made a name for herself as a successful playback singer and also served as a director, writer and producer.

Sanjay, his son too appeared in the 2009 film, Vettaikaaran, in the hugely popular 'Naan Adicha' song.

Divya Saasha, his daughter did a cameo in the smash 2016 hit, Theri.

That being said, it is now being stated Divya Saasha could likely make her playback singing debut in Vijay’s Thalapathy 62, which has music by A. R. Rahman. Reports state she is said to possess a talent for singing and it is likely for her to sing in either Vijay 62or Thalapathy 63. We now await an official confirmation on the news.

Meanwhile, Vijay's ongoing project Thalapathy 62 being directed by A. R. Murugadoss under the Sun Pictures banner has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead and is slated for a Diwali release later this year.
