Actor Sivakarthikeyan has gone on to become a hot property in just a decade’s time since he made his entry in the Tamil film industry.
The star is attached to a line of films starting with Mr. Local opposite Nayanthara under M. Rajesh’s direction and is gearing up for release on May 1.
The highly ambitious sci-fi film, SK 14, alongside Rakul Preet Singh under R. Ravikumar’s direction being produced by 24AM Studios with music by A. R. Rahman has Sivakarthikeyan fans everywhere mighty excited.
His film, Hero, under Irumbu Thirai fame PS Mithran was launched only a few days back amidst much hype and will be the fifteenth film for Sivakarthikeyan with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja under the KJR Studios banner.
Then, there’s SK 16, under Pandiraj’s direction, which was announced by the reputed production banner, Sun Pictures, not long back, making it yet another illustrious project for Sivakarthikeyan.
Meanwhile, a project that has been teased for quite sometime, SK 17, with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role under Vignesh Shivan’s direction was officially announced earlier today under the Lyca Productions banner with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Announced to be a 2020 release with filming set to begin from July 2019, SK 17’s director Vignesh Shivan took to his Twitter page to express his joy and gratitude to all those associated with the film, which he states is his Dream Project No: 4.
He went on to state he is thankful to Sivakarthikeyan for the opportunity while being grateful to composer Anirudh for coming as a blessing and giving life to all his dreams and also exhibited elation to join hands with Lyca Productions for the second time after Naanum Rowdydhaan in 2015.
