Vidyu Raman who received accolades for her performance in the recent release Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga (VSOP) is all excited to join the team of Thala 56. The film which is slated to be a Diwali release, will have Vidyu Raman playing a small role in the second half of the film. It may be recalled that the actress has already worked with Ajith before in Veeram.

As reported earlier, the shooting of this Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon starrer that is tentatively called as Thala 56, is nearing its end. Directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by A. M. Rathnam, this untitled film is touted to be a family entertainer which has Kabir Duhan Singh, Ashwin Kakumanu, Soori and many others on the supporting cast. Stay tuned!
