Actor Vijay generates interest among fans unlike any other star in recent times.

Post the massive success of his Mersal released last year, Vijay is at present working on his next tentatively titled Thalapathy 62 under A. R. Murugadoss’s direction.

Starring Keerthy Suresh as the female lead, Vijay 62 is being produced under the Sun Pictures banner with A. R. Rahman for the music.

Meanwhile, there have been talks for a while on whom Vijay would collaborate next post the completion of Thalapathy 62.

It must be noted Vijay had met Velaikkaran director Mohan Raja sometime back, which instantly raised the curiosity among fans for a reunion between the two after their Velayudham.

Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame H. Vinoth’s name too was in the fray after the young filmmaker is said to have met Vijay.

That being said, there were rumors for the past few days that National Award-winning filmmaker Vetrimaaran and Vijay had met with the former narrating a one-line story to the superstar.

Meanwhile, those rumors have now been dismissed considering the two had not met in recent times despite Vijay having a great deal of respect and adulation for the celebrated filmmaker’s works.

It must be noted Vetrimaaran’s upcoming film, the first installment in the Vada Chennai trilogy, starring Dhanush, Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, Ameer, Daniel Balaji, Karunas among others slated for a Ramzan release is one of the biggest films coming out this year.
