For well over a week, we have been reporting that actor Vemal’s Mannar Vagaiyara will be hitting screens in a box office clash against Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Nimir and Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie.
Mannar Vagaiyara has been directed by Boopathy Pandian under the A3V Cinemaz banner with music by Jakes Bejoy and has Kayal Anandhi and Chandini Tamilarasan as the female leads followed by a talented ensemble supporting cast featuring names like Prabhu, Jayaprakash, Robo Shankar, Vamsi Krishna, Karthik Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Neelima Rani among others.
That said, rumors cropped up out of nowhere stating Mannar Vagaiyara had been pulled off of this week's release lineup and that it was being postponed to an indefinite date.
Vemal has now come out with a statement saying no such development has taken place and the film is indeed on track for release this Friday.
